Turtle Bay Resorts

Those of you who haven't been home in a while will come to appreciate the beauty and the hard work that was put into the Turtle Bay Resorts website: http://www.turtlebayresort.com/

The site is nicely done and utilizes the latest virtual cam technologies. Way to go "Turtle Bay". This is our ohana's (family's) favorite place to go to either relax or fish. Those planning on coming to Hawaii be sure to check out the resort and the surrounding beaches. It's one of the most beautiful spots on the island and if you walk out far enough, you could maybe get a full body tan. As there usually is no one around. Just hope no one walked out as far as you did.

For friends and family who are currently far away from home and are suffering through the cold weather, hopefully just the existence of this site can bring you some warmth and comfort. Like other sites, Turtle Bay Resorts provides basic information about their resort and location. But what sets them apart from other resorts on the island is their website. They really spent alot of time and effort into making sure they provide their web users with a unique experience as well. This is done by providing users with a "Virtual Tour" of the resort. The virtual tour allows you to vicariously experience the rooms, golf course, and surronding areas through the latest web and video technologies. They've been renovating the resort for the last 3 years now and can personally tell you that it was made with the vistor in mind. The resort itself has also taken advantage of some of the latest technologies. There are several flat screen monitors around the resort which displays helpful information to all it's guests. The party and guest rooms also got revamped and have been outfitted with a more ritzy look. We especially like the area towards the back of the resort which contains a mini waterfall with a couple of Koi ponds. Very nicely done!

Anyways it's just the place to be if your looking to relax and have a good time. For locals who are wondering how the surf is or if conditions are good for diving. Take advantage of their online web cam which is "Live", in real time. There's an option to take control of the web cam allowing users to take control of the panning. There's even a zoom option. This can come in handy for all you fishermen out there. Check it out by clicking here.

The site is truly a reflection of "What you see, is what you get". We only have one request, keep lowering the Kamaaina rate please!
